What do I do if my family finds out about my Self-Harm?

Kati Morton answers that!

It’s going to be okay.

Just take a deep breath.

Things will get better.

You CAN get through this.

You are strong, you are beautiful. you are worth it.

You’re not just a survivor

You’re a fighter.

“This is for all the people who hate themselves. Who self- harm. Who sit over the toilet and throw up their meal. To the people who look in the mirror and just feel ugly. The people who have tried to kill themselves. To the people who are abused and bullied. I love you. You are beautiful people. You are strong. You are strong enough to be here. I have faith in all of you and i always will. Your not alone. You may feel it but your not. So don’t do all of those things you do to yourself. Your better then that. I know how hard it is to stay strong, but just keep trying and keep going and it will all get better. And if it doesn’t it means your not at the finish line yet. So keep that head up high. You can do it <3”

Believe this. They are a part of who you are.

The pain won’t always be there
And someday after the fall, your scrapes and scratches will remind you
Of the hurt you left behind you and you’ll see
That scars are beautiful

Each scar is living proof and they tell the truth
About places that you’ve been
They’re all roadmaps to life’s lessons made
By sacrifice and sin
And you can let them bring you down
Or you can hold your head up high
Don’t let the chance you took to fall
Keep you from the chance you take to try
